Ca. 900 - 700 BC. A large vessel with a broad open mouth, a rounded, deep body, and a low ring foot. The exterior is burnished and incised around the upper body with a continuous zig-zag frieze filled with short diagonal hatching, framed above by fine horizontal lines. Size: 370mm x 470mm; Weight: 9.2kg Provenance: Private UK collection; formerly with H. Smeets collection, Netherlands, late 1980s.
