Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A large red-figure skyphos with a deep, tapering cup, a pair of horizontal handles, and a ring foot, the rim with an ovolo band on the main side and a wave pattern on the reverse. Side A shows a standing female, draped in chiton and himation, her right hand raised, with a suspended ribbon at her side. Side B shows two himation-clad youths engaged in conversation, facing one another beneath a suspended disc. The zones beneath the handle are filled with large palmettes flanked by scrolled tendrils.
