Ca. 540 - 500 BC. A black-figure skyphos with a deep body on a disc-shaped foot and a pair of horizontal handles at the sides. A reserved band beneath the rim is painted on each side with a swan in profile between palmettes and curling tendrils. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: 41.162.125.
