Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A pair of gold earrings, each formed as a hoop of tapering twisted wire with a short beaded finial suspended from the lower curve, and a hook-and-loop fastening. One has a globule at the loop terminal, the other a circular plaque with beaded edging and a central boss. Size: 21-22mm x 17-18mm; Weight: 4.4g Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Switzerland; formerly with C.B. collection, 1970s-1990s.
