Ca. 630 - 610 BC. A terracotta oinochoe with a pinched spout, a tall neck with vertical painted strokes, and a broad strap handle from shoulder to rim, with a pair of applied discs at the handle junctions. A globular body sits on a low ring foot, with a band of rays above the base. The shoulder and body are encircled by figured friezes of wild animals and creatures, including sirens, lions, antelopes and swans, set among large rosettes and scattered floral fillers, framed above and below by horizontal bands in dark paint and added red.
