Second Intermediate Period, Ca. 1790 - 1550 BC. A steatite scarab cut on the underside with a composition of hieroglyphic signs including a bird, nfr sign, basket, and feathers, set in a possibly later silver pendant with a rounded wire hoop and an oval swivel mount. Size: 31mm x 23mm; Weight: 5.87g Provenance: Private central London collection; previously acquired on the UK art market before 2000.
