Ca. AD 300 - 450. An iron spatha with a long, narrow blade of lenticular section tapering to a pointed tip. The hilt fitted with a bone grip, turned with shallow mouldings, above a rounded guard and below an ovoid pommel. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1851,0806.2.
