Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze sword with a straight, tapering blade cast with a pronounced central ridge. A broad guard plate leads to a narrow grip moulded with raised collars, terminating in a crescent-shaped pommel. Size: 520mm x 55mm; Weight: 730g Provenance: Private Oxfordshire collection; Formerly acquired on the European art market from pre-2000 collections.
