Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze sword with an integral hilt and a disc-shaped pommel above a narrow grip. The blade is broad at the base and tapers to the point, with a longitudinal central channel on each face. Size: 435mm x 70mm; Weight: 385g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly with J. Micas collection, Paris, France formed since the 1970s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
