Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze sword with a compact D-shaped pommel above a cylindrical grip with moulded collars. The blade is long and straight-sided before tapering to the tip, with a low central rib. Size: 545mm x 45mm; Weight: 710g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly with J. Micas collection, Paris, France formed since the 1970s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
