Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze sword with an integral hilt, the pommel flaring above a straight grip with scalloped finger notches along each side. The blade tapers to a point, with a central, narrow groove. Size: 460mm x 55mm; Weight: 420g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly with J. Micas collection, Paris, France formed since the 1970s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
