Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze sword with a long, tapering blade of lenticular section with a pronounced midrib running towards the point. The banded hilt terminates in a stone pommel of biconvex profile. Size: 450mm x 60mm; Weight: 655g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly with J. Micas collection, Paris, France formed since the 1970s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
