Ca. AD 800 - 1000. A gold lunar pendant with a crescent plaque framed by a narrow raised rim and a tubular suspension loop above, chased with a rope motif. The obverse is decorated with applied twisted wire scrolls and spirals arranged symmetrically. The reverse is plain. For similar see: A.
