Ca. AD 1 - 300. A marble life size fragment of an Aphrodite Cyrene Type, comprising the lower torso from the waist and the legs to just below the knees. The abdomen is smoothly modelled with a shallow navel above a lightly carved pubic triangle, the hips broad and the thighs rounded, the stance set with the left leg slightly advanced.
