Ca. AD 600 - 700. A pair of gold cross pendants, each formed from four hollow biconvex discs of thin sheet. A circular mount for a gemstone is fixed at the centre within a beaded collar. Each arm terminates in a suspension ring. Size: 25-25mm x 24-25mm; Weight: 3.24g Provenance: From a private London collection; previously acquired in Paris, France; originally part of a private French collection based in Montpellier, assembled between the 1970s and 1990s.
