Plaque. A marble profile portrait plaque by noted American sculptor B. M. Pickett. The plaque portrays a older gentleman looking to the left. Signed below and to the right of the bust, "B. M. Pickett". Unknown subject, well worth researching; Pickett is known for his statue of Samuel F. B. Morse in NYC's Central Park. From a Long Island estate. Dimensions: Marble plaque alone approx. 12" h x 10" w. - Dimensions: Overall in frame 18.5" x 16.25" 品相： Surface crack above head on right side; not through and through. Surface is soiled.
