Ca. AD 800 - 900. A gold pendant formed as a circular plate with an integral suspension tube at the apex, with twisted wire ornament and a raised boss. The obverse is decorated with a stylised ropework cross with trefoil finials and a beaded outer border, the quadrants filled with scrolling loops and round bosses, with additional granules in the field.
