Ca. AD 500 - 700. A gold pendant in the form of a stylised head of Odin, with prominent, rounded eyes and a long nose. The face is framed by a crescentic arrangement of hair modelled with raised ribs and granule ornament, and a suspension loop above with a row of applied pellets. For similar see: T. D.
