Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A tinned bronze Chalcidian helmet with a high domed skull and a medial ridge. The brow has a shallow projecting peak and arched eye openings, separated by a short projecting nose guard. Hinged cheekpieces at the temples are decorated with roundels and curvilinear motifs that continue along the lower edge of the helmet. A crescentic appliqu? is mounted on the forehead and at the back. The helmet curves down at the rear into a broad neck guard.
