STUNNING GREEK PERIOD SILVER DECORATED BOWL

Ca. 500 BC. A silver bowl with a flaring body rising from a flat base to a slightly everted rim. The exterior is divided into vertical panels of elongated, ribbed flutes, each enclosed by raised borders and separated by narrow strips punched with small circular dots. Size: 65mm x 135mm; Weight: 305g Provenance: Property of an London art professional; previously in an old 1970's Canadian collection.
