Ca. 350 BC. A red-figure bell krater with a broad flaring rim, a bell-shaped body tapering to a short stem above a disc foot, and a pair of upturned horizontal handles set at the shoulder. A laurel-wreath band decorates the zone beneath the rim, with a wave band above the stem, and large palmettes with scrolling tendrils beneath the handles. Side A shows a funerary stele between a seated draped woman on a stool and a standing woman, with offerings and suspended objects in the field. Side B shows three draped women, each holding offerings, with subsidiary motifs including vegetal sprigs. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1772,0320.469.
