Ca. 350 BC. A bell krater with a broad overhanging rim, a deep rounded body, and a pair of upturned loop handles at the shoulder, set on a tall stem and circular foot. Side A shows Dionysus in left profile, wearing an ivy wreath, with a taenia in the field. Side B shows a Lady of Fashion facing left, wearing a stephane and sakkos, with beaded earrings and a necklace, a taenia behind the head. The handle zones are decorated with palmettes and scrolling tendrils. For similar see: The Cleveland Museum of Art, 1989.73.
