Bamboo Carvings from the Wumingtang Collection signed Shang Xun and dated to the yiyou year Height 14.7 cm, 5¾ in. Shang Xun (dates unknown) was a prolific carver during the Jiaqing and Daoguang reigns and known particularly for his use of the liuqing technique and his use of deep and shallow relied.
