Ca. 100 BC - AD 250. A two-tone red-brown and tan pottery seated figure with the legs bent and both arms tightly crossed over the chest. The head is framed by projecting ears and topped with a small shaman?s horn at the centre of the forehead. The facial features are simplified, with elliptical eyes, a pronounced nose, and a shallow mouth. Size: 330mm x 160mm; Weight: 2.4kg Provenance: Private UK Collection; Ex. Midwest collection. Ex.
