Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A wooden sarcophagus mask depicting a stylised face with heavy-lidded almond eyes beneath incised brows, a long nose, and a closed, narrow mouth. A plain headdress frames the face, with a broad band across the brow. The reverse is flat and pierced with a series of circular holes for attachment, with surviving wooden dowels in places. Size: 260mm x 180mm; Weight: 465g Provenance: From an old British collection formed in the 1970s; previously acquired in France. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
