Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. An amethyst intaglio engraved with the head of Minerva in profile, with abundant hair covered by a double-headed helmet with a crested crown. Set in a possibly later gold ring with a large oval bezel frame above a flat-section hoop with fluted amphora-shaped shoulders. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1872,0604.153.
