Ca. AD 50 - 200. A gold ring with an oval bezel and a broad, tapering hoop. The bezel holds a convex agate intaglio with a bevelled edge, engraved with winged Nike in flight, extending a wreath towards an empress, seated and holding a spear. An eight-pointed star at each cardinal point frames the scene.
