Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC. A pottery jar with a globular body narrowing to a tall cylindrical neck with a thickened everted rim. The neck is encircled by horizontal bands in red, blue, and black, with a frieze of upright blue petals alternating with red stamens. The shoulder displays a broad register of two alternating designs: one with a bird rising from a marsh; the other with three lotus buds. The lower body is left plain.
