Ca. 3rd - 5th century AD. >A fine Nazca geometric pottery vessel of tall, slightly waisted form with a flaring rim and rounded base, the vessel is decorated with horizontal bands of geometric ornament encircling the body. The upper register features vertical elements beneath the rim, followed by alternating triangular and zigzag motifs arranged in rhythmic bands across the midsection. These patterns are painted in earth and black pigment against a buff ground, creating strong graphic contrast characteristic of Nazca ceramic painting.
