Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC. A pottery jar with a globular body narrowing at the shoulder to a tall cylindrical neck with a thickened everted rim. The neck is encircled by horizontal bands in red, blue, and black, with a frieze of upright blue petals alternating with red stamens, and a toothed band. The shoulder is decorated with a frieze of alternating fan-shaped buds with pointed petals, bounded above and below by further bands. The lower body is left plain.
