Ca. 20th century AD. >A Kachina Hopi doll with a cylindrical head and simplified body, the doll is decorated with traces of red and white pigment across the surface. The face features a projecting nose and stylised painted elements at either side, while the torso and skirt-like lower section retain worn painted decoration suggesting ceremonial costume.
