Ca. 3rd - 5th century AD. >A Nazca pottery vessel of cylindrical form with a slightly rounded base and gently everted rim, the vessel is decorated with horizontal bands of red and black pigment encircling the body. Beneath the rim runs a frieze of repeated star motifs, each with radiating linear points and alternating in red and dark pigment against a light ground.
