Pre-Dynastic Period, Ca. 3650 - 3300 BC. A terracotta jar with a tall tapering ovoid body narrowing to the base. The upper zone is decorated with a black band descending from the mouth, above a red-burnished body. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: 36.1.4.
