Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. A bronze dagger with a tapering blade and broad shoulder, both faces with pronounced midrib. The hilt has a central stem flanked by a pair of upturned lateral prongs, with rivet holes along the stem and to either side. For similar see: N.
