Ca. 17th-18th century AD. A cast bronze figure of Murugan, the god of war, standing on a circular pedestal with four arms holding his characteristic weapons - including the vel (spear) and trident. The youthful deity wears a tall conical headdress, jewellery, and a short dhoti with incised details. Size: 115mm x 70mm; Weight: 255gProvenance: Private UK Collection.
