Ca. 19th century AD. A fine pair of bronze figures depicting Lord Ganesha, the beloved elephant-headed deity. The figure on the left depicts the dancing form of the deity, poised gracefully on one leg atop a lotus pedestal. His dynamic posture embodies joy and cosmic rhythm, symbolising the balance between energy and harmony. The figure on the right depicts the deity seated, in a calm and regal posture with four arms holding his characteristic attributes - a sweet (modaka), an axe (parashu), a lotus, and his broken tusk.Size: 150-155mm x 90-110mm; Weight: 1.78kgProvenance: Private UK Collection.
