Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. >A Nagaland necklace composed of alternating elongated shell beads and cylindrical glass beads, the necklace forms a sequence of pale, gently curved segments punctuated by darker patterned beads. The shell components are smoothly polished and taper slightly toward their ends, while the glass beads display decorative patterns influenced by ancient Greek glass.
