Ca. 19th - early 20th century AD. >A group comprising eight bonito trolling hooks constructed with elongated bone or shell shanks fitted with sharply curved hook points secured by fibre lashings. The shanks are carved in slender, tapering forms, some with small lateral projections or notched terminals for attaching fishing lines.
