Ca. 200 - 1 BC. A carnelian intaglio engraved with a right-facing portrait of queen probably Artemisia, the hair arranged in close waves beneath a laurel wreath and gathered into a chignon. Set in a possibly later gold ring with an oval bezel mount punctuated with fine granules, above broad shoulders narrowing to a plain hoop.
