A steatite scarab with a flat base engraved with a hieroglyphic inscription framed by spirals at both sides, mounted in a possibly later gold pendant with a rounded hoop and an oval frame on lateral pivots. Size: 30mm x 26mm; Weight: 9.78g Provenance: Private central London collection; previously acquired on the UK art market before 2000.
