Circa 1815 Of rectangular form, veneered in figured malachite mounted with a gilt-bronze border, raised on four gilt-bronze feet, the stand supports a cut-glass inkwell and sander, centered by a gilt-bronze figure of a winged putto dressed as a warrior, wearing a crested helmet and cuirass, holding aloft a laurel wreath and blowing a trumpet, symbolizing triumph and glory.
