Circa 1815-1825, in the manner of Gillows Each with a carved spiral-twist and rounded top rail above an upholstered seat supported by curved legs. Height 33 1/2 inches (85 cm), width 18 inches (45.8 cm), depth 17 inches (43.2 cm). Footnote: The chairs follow Gillows' designs for naval and neoclassical chairs, which became a popular style for the firm in the early 19th century.
