拍品描述
Circa 1815, attributed to John McLean With two drawers and two false drawers, on a trestle base. Height 28 1/4 inches (72 cm), width 34 inches (86.5 cm), depth 25 inches (63.5 cm), open 53 1/2 inches (135.8 cm) A similar example without a center stretcher was offered at Christie's London, January 26, 2011, lot 412, and Sotheby's London, November 12, 2019, lot 104. Footnote: The present table closely aligns with the work of John McLean & Son, the esteemed London cabinet-making firm active during the late 18th century through 1825. Reflecting the firm's celebrated 'Elegant Parisian Furniture', it combines the French sophistication with English restraint, executed in richly figured rosewood with finely cast brass mounts, consistent with documented examples illustrated in S. Redburn (Furniture History, 1978), vol. 14. 品相: No condition report?
