Circa 1815-20, in the manner of George Bullock The molded rectangular seat below two cylindrical armrests on lotus-wrapped supports, above a three-quarter half-patarae and ball-molded apron on reeded, turned legs. Height 28 inches (71.2 cm), width 41 3/4 inches (106 cm), depth 18 inches (45.8 cm). Provenance: The Collector: English Furniture, Clocks and Works of Art, Christie's London, May 23, 2018, lot 110. A similar pair of oak side tables bearing the same half-patarae and ball-molded border was offered as lot 591 from A Town House in Mayfair sale, Christie's London, November 8, 2008.
