Attributed to Gillows, circa 1810-20 The reeded top with a hinged covered stationary compartment above a frieze drawer on turned tapering legs with brass caps and casters. Height 30 inches (76.2 cm), width 28 1/8 inches (71.4 cm), depth 19 7/8 inches (50.5 cm). Literature: A related "chamber table" design is documented in the Gillows Estimate Sketch Books, 1826 (ref. 3497).
