Circa 1780 In two parts, the top section with dentil-molded cornice and arcaded frieze above a pair of glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the secretary drawer fitted with pigeon holes and small drawers over a leather-lined writing surface, above two cupboard doors enclosing three sliding shelves, on bracket feet. Height 86 inches (218.4 cm), width 46 inches (116.8 cm), depth 22 3/4 inches (57.7 cm). Provenance: William Doyle Auctions, New York, October 16, 1991, lot 641.
