Circa 1765, possibly by Wright and Elwick The serpentine padded back and seat upholstered in Scalamandre La Perouse yellow floral cotton fabric, the serpentine arm supports with egg-and-dart border, on square channeled legs joined by stretchers with conforming egg-and-dart borders. Height 39 inches (99 cm), width 27 1/2 inches (70 cm), depth 21 1/2 inches (55 cm), seat height 17 inches (43.5 cm).
