Third quarter 19th century The rectangular variegrated pink marble top with a pierced brass gallery above a superstructure fitted with three small drawers above a tambour roll-top opening to reveal a fitted writing interior; the front inset with a long panel decorated with putti within scrolling foliate borders, over a frieze with drawers, on fluted tapering legs, terminating in toupie feet. Height 40 1/4 inches (102.3 cm), width 30 1/2 inches (77.5 cm), depth 17 3/4 inches (45 cm).
