拍品描述
Circa 1870 Formed as a circular inkwell with domed cover, surmounted by a turned finial and applied with a penholder in the form of a feather, set in a circular parcel-gilt red lacquer tray encircled by a cast gilt-bronze gallery, on three foliate feet. Diameter 8 inches (20 cm). Such inkstands were produced in the 19th Century often inspired by mid-18th Century bureau garnitures. The use of a feather-form pen holder is a particular poetic nod, blending practicality with sculptural refinement. 品相: No condition report?
