1745-1749 Surmounted by a finely cast male and female monkey figure, dressed in theatrical costume, supported on scrolled rocaille frameworks, cast with assymetrical scrolls, acanthus leaves and shell motifs. Each impressed with the "crowned C" tax mark, used between 1745-1749. Height 12 inches (30.4 cm), width 15 1/2 inches (39.3 cm), depth 5 inches (12.7 cm).
